I could say 'welcome to hell,' but let's try staying a bit more positive.

Back in 2017, an auror named Elisa Monelli used the ruins of the Eterna to build a school that would teach a new generation to combat the growing threat of the Heirs. Monelli created three houses – Estremo for the bold and fearless, Spirito for the budding intellectuals, and Leale for the good-natured, friendly students. I was one of the school’s first inhabitants, a Spirito. Many more still flowed through those great doors after Anima Eterna’s opening.

At first, things were normal. We were just a bunch of school kids. But then the attacks started. And the disappearances. And the killings. Anima Eterna was always meant to be a place to train the youth of the day to stand and fight, but no one was prepared for the brutality that rained down upon us. How do you get past that?

In the summer of 2019, the Heirs invaded our school. Although there had been other attacks, this was by far the most devastating. Somehow, we managed to defend our school, but the death toll was higher than it had ever been, and it seemed that, from that moment on, there was no going back. Many of the survivors were broken by what they had seen.

After that, Monelli stepped it up. She told us what she knew about the school and the Eterna. We stopped focusing on classes and grades and started focusing on defensive and offensive techniques. She formed the militia- and army of adults and former students here to protect us from attackers while we learned.

We’re not just students preparing for a distant future anymore. We’re soldiers, learning how to survive.

Things have changed since Anima Eterna opened its doors. This school has become the center of a war, one in which we have no choice but to fight. After the Order came out, I was part of the raid to rid the school of all the Death Eaters and Order members that had been spying on us all this time. Anima Eterna made an alliance with the Initiative, a group of well-trained vigilantes out to strike down all the darker forces now threatening and even controlling our world. Now we’re protected by spells and enchantments…the whole place if hidden by an anonymous secret keeper. But can we ever be sure that we are protected from one another?

As the world grows more and more fragmented, can we hold onto the bonds of loyalty?
