Collection of Lycra Superhero Costumes and Tips

To track the history of the superhero costume, it has been raised and grown as a sub-fashion among the clothes industry, from the secret desire for heroes. Since the old times, most superheros and super girls are illustrated wearing the skin-tight bodysuits. When sourced back, there are possibly two reasons for this: 1)the skin-tight zentai outfits could best display the inner strong muscles of the heroes and show us the strength; 2)the artist could draw one set of lines, then directly add in colors, rather than make extra lines for the clothes. Therefore nowadays most heroes still follow this tradition, and the creative artistic skills, are mainly used on the camouflage of the costumes, rather than the shape.

However, with the superhero costumes exist, it’s the uprising of the cosplay, which is a new entertainment of bringing the characters from art works live, contributed the rapid development of it. People have the strong desire to show the love for the heroes they love, and this way could turn ourselves into the heroes. Besides that, this could add in a lot of fun for the parties and holidays.

Lycra is Elastic Material to Tailor Superhero Outfits

To view the reasons for the flourish of the superhero outfits from the cloth industry, there’s a new kind of mixed woven material, which is well-known lycra spandex these days, as one step forward for us to embrace the fun of dressing up ourselves as heroes. The lycra superhero clothes are soft and highly elastic. They could also best realize the skin-tight effects, while maintain the flexibility for the wearer to move around. Most of all, the expense is very reasonable and affordable for most of us.

To divide the popular lycra superhero suits by the camouflage, there are spiderman, batman, superman/supergirl, iron man, A captain, and many others. Based on these originals, there are many other evolved designs for us to select from.

All Different Kinds of Superhero Costumes

The biggest group of the superhero costumes, should be the spiderman suits. It has a very long history since the first born of the Spidey in comic and manga. Just very recently his appearance has been moved into the movies and spread all over the world. The love from fans, not only lies on the super power, but also at the human being characters shown on him. Rather than many other heroes which look like perfect, Spiderman is a colleage student and he has the family condition and personal features which most of us have, and this has pulled him close to us.

Right now you could see a lot of different designed superhero costumes. The one I have attached above, is the newest model which is very close to the original – the most close one I could find. There are also many different colors, such as blue, green, black, etc. You could go whichever direction you love.

Superman and Supergirls – Another Favorite

The most classic superman costume is also popular, and compared with the original red blue suit, there are also a lot of supergirl costumes, which is following the same color pattern, but revised with the obvious feminine features, such as the short skirt with ruffles, and slim waistline to show out the beautiful bodyline. However, there are not many new design costumes available at this category.

Another group which has similar history with them, is the batman. Batman features for the black tight costume with a huge cloak. The change of color and the hood with two horns, has greatly change the style to the mysterious and elegant image. However, the cheapest batman costume tailored by shiny metallic material I ever see, is sold close to 50 bucks, and if you want to save the money, you could just buy a black zentai suit, then cut the holes on the hood as you wish, then attach two sticky horns with the hard paper, and make your own easy costume. You could also use the suits for other occasions, after removing the stuffs you pasted on later, and the cloak.
