Predator Fancy dress – Relive the 80′s Famous Movie
The Predator has become not merely a movie icon, but a popular culture icon, appearing in two additional Predator movies, a couple of cross-over films, video games, comics and more.
It’s for this reason that it can make such a popular and dramatic fancy dress costume. No one will have problems telling who you’re supposed to be when you walk into the bash as a 7 foot alien killing machine!
The Predator outfit is a really good reflection of the monster that you see from the motion pictures (less Kevin Peter Hall’s amazing height) and consists of the jumpsuit with a black and white pattern style to reflect the appearance of the creatures outfit in the film.
There are also EVA moulded armour parts around the chest, shoulders, legs and forearms, in a similar gun metal colour as the Predator wears as it stalked its commando quarry in the South American jungles, vividly depicted in the film.
The costume also contains a belt in the identical grey colour that has attached thigh guards hanging straight down from either side to defend the creature’s legs.
The terrifying visage from the Predator is re-created using the mask provided with costume. It pulls over the head and displays the Predator devoid of its facial armour. The dreadlock look hair and pincer like mouth are all obviously visible and are certain to give party goers a shock.
To round everything off and make the transformation into the galaxy’s most remorseless hunter complete, a pair of character hands will cover your puny human pores and skin and make them look like the hands of the Predator. I believe even Arnold would be shaking in his boots if he caught a glimpse of you in this costume.
If you don’t fancy going all out and pulling on the whole jumpsuit, then you could always decide on a stand-alone mask. The Predator Mask – Adult is a brilliant re-creation of the face and face plate armour of the hunter.
The mask is latex and comes with a removable face plate that looks just like the armour worn by the Predator in the film. The face plate is gun metal in colour and features a worn effect, so it appears as though it has seen a lot more than a few risky commando hunting trips.
Pull off the mask and you also have a real accurate recreation of the Predators diverse features, including the sunken, yellow eyes, 4 mandibles as well as the dreadlock style hair.
A mask is quick and easy to pull on and off and provides a simple alternative when you do not want to dress up, head-to-toe.
The Predator fancy dress outfit will make an impression at a get together and has immediate recognition – it is even acceptable at the many 1980′s themed functions which have been cropping up with increased regularity over the previous 12 months.
