Little Adventures is a great brand of boys dress up clothes.  Their boys costumes are great quality and are easy for little boys to get on and off by themselves.  They have the above mentioned Superman cape, Spiderman cape, medieval knight, pirate cape with pirate hat.  Best of all, all of their boys costumes are machine washable.  You don’t find that every day!  You can find online retailers that sell Little Adventures brand boys dress up clothes.  Many also offer special sales and/or free shipping so you can get more bang for your buck.

Another good place to look for affordable dress up costumes for boys is at yard sales or on your local classifieds site.  Craigslist or your local newspaper is a good place to start.  Many people’s children have grown out of the dress up clothes that they already have.  You can find savings of up to 50% or more if you buy gently used items from others who don’t need them any more.

If you have a lot of dress ups, you can even rotate them in and out of your playroom.  Keep half neatly folded in a box or tote and then switch every now and then so your little boy has different and interesting things to play with.
